Join women from every walk of life for a weekend of encountering God!

Breezewood Women's Conference - February 28-29

Sharon Q. Farruggia

Keynote Speaker

For more than 20 years, Sharon Farruggia has served as Associate Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. She also serves as Director of Harvest Food Pantry (which has been blessed to serve more than 90,000 families since its inception), and is the Tennessee State Mentoring Director for the Church of God of Prophecy.

Over the past 25 years, Rev. Farruggia has worked with Children, Youth, and Women’s Ministries, and has been a Chaplain working with troubled teens and women who have endured domestic violence.

Rev. Farruggia believes it is never about the title, but always about the towel. “Lord, show me who you want me to serve.”

Dr. Rebecca Calhoun

Guest Speaker

Raised in Hope Mills and a graduate of Southview High School, Dr. Calhoun was an undergraduate of NC State, and earned her Medical Doctorate at East Carolina’s School of Medicine. She is currently an ER Physician at Womack Army Medical Center. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Kris, for more than 20 years and they have four children.

In 2014, life changed for the Calhouns. They returned home from China after joyfully adopting little miss Ella Grace. Little did they know that the following July, Rebecca would be diagnosed with brain cancer, starting their family on a journey of healing, faith, and fingerprints. Rebecca calls this time her “healing journey” and is committed to tell anyone who will listen how amazing God is!

Pastor Donna Vines & Casi Gilmer

Guest Speaker

Donna Vines serves as co-pastor of Breezewood Church. On December 19, 2018, she entered the hospital and did not return home until February 1, 2019. Diagnosed with encephalitis and not expected to “make it,” Pastor Donna’s family and church began to believe God for the impossible. Casi Gilmer, a nurse practitioner and church member, will join Pastor Donna with the medical side of her miraculous journey.

Diann Hockenberry

Guest Speaker

Diann and her family have considered Fayetteville home ever since the Army transplanted them in 1999. She and husband of 33 years (Dale) have four children and three grandchildren. Diann has served at Fayetteville Christian School since 2005 as the Office Manager.

Diann’s upbringing had a great negative impact on her, having been raised in a non- Christian home with an abusive dad whom she continually heard cursing God as well as the day she was born. But as a young woman, she gave her life to Christ and knew Holy Spirit was leading her to forgive her dad. This obedient act was only the beginning of the healing journey the Heavenly Father would take her on. Diann loves God, loves her family, and loves to inspire others by sharing her story of God's transforming, healing love.
