About Us
Our Purpose
We exist because everyone needs Jesus.

Our Mission
The mission of Breezewood Church is to make disciples who
believe in, become like, and boldly proclaim Jesus through daily encounters with God.
“Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
- Jesus, Matthew 4:19
Our Identity
Our Values

Honor
Heaven's Value System
Honor is our posture towards that which God has deemed sacred: people, marriage, authority, and life. We honor by protecting, prioritizing, and loving who and what God has placed in our lives.
Romans 12:10, Philippians 2:3,
Exodus 20:12 Matthew 7:12,
Hebrews 13:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:11-13

PASSION
Hearts on Fire
We aim for empty. We pour out our lives knowing He will fill us to overflowing. He lights the flame but we are responsible to feed it. It’s all eyes on Him, all hearts on fire.
2 Timothy 4:6, Leviticus 6:13, Colossians 3:23, Romans 12:11

REVERENCE
STAND AT ATTENTION
Reverence is our posture towards God. To know Him is to stand in awe of Him. We live aware of His presence and in obedience to His Word. The fear of the Lord is the foundation of a holy life.
Proverbs 1:7, Ephesians 5:21,
Exodus 3:5

CELEBRATION
PAUSE AND PRAISE
We slow down and celebrate wins, both big and small, that are happening around us every day. When we stop to think, we’ll stop and thank.
Revelation 19:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Ephesians 5:20, Psalm 105:1, 1 Corinthians 15:57

GENEROSITY
LIVE OPEN-HANDED
Whatever we keep from God, keeps us from God. Therefore we put it all on the table, knowing His kingdom is one of abundance and overflow. We will never out-give God.
Acts 20:35, Proverbs 19:17, 2 Corinthians 9:7, John 3:16

CLARITY
KEEP IT CRYSTAL
Clarity brings confidence. How we communicate is just as important as what we communicate. Our words shape beliefs, inspire action, and bring freedom. We leave nothing up for interpretation.
Psalm 119:130, Psalm 49:3,
Proverbs 29:18, Hosea 4:6

UNITY
SAME TEAM
The Kingdom is a team sport and we’re on the winning side! Our priority to be unified in all things doesn’t mean being uniform in all things. We celebrate what makes us different and fixate on who makes us one: Jesus.
Psalm 131:1, Matthew 12:25, John 17:21,
1 Thessalonians 5:15

FORGIVENESS
Don't Build a Fence
Offense builds a barrier between us and others. Forgiveness uproots bitterness and tears down the fence. It’s not for them, it’s for you.
Hebrews 12:15, Matthew 6:15, Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13, Matthew 18:22

STEWARDSHIP
It's all His
We’re managers, not owners. Therefore, everything in our possession is put there with His instruction and for His glory. We seek to steward all things as though they belong to Him, because they do.
1 Corinthians 4:2, 1 Peter 4:10,
Matthew 25:15, Psalm 24:1

SIMPLICITY
LESS IS MORE
Jesus demonstrated a simple life, preached a simple message, and gave simple instructions. Simple doesn’t mean easy. Guarding what is most important is often difficult but we choose to live our lives free of the clutter.
Psalm 27:4, Luke 10:41-42,
Psalm 19:7, 2 Timothy 2:20-21,
1 Corinthians 14:33, Hebrews 13:5

ACCOUNTABILITY
CHECK YOUR BLIND SPOT
We grow through feedback. As we hold one another accountable, we are sharpened, refined, and empowered. We value hearing what is in your heart and sharing what is in ours.
Proverbs 15:22, Proverbs 1:5,
James 5:16, Proverbs 27:17, 1
John 1:5-7, Psalm 32:5

INTEGRITY
NOTHING IS HIDDEN
Who we are behind closed doors is who God will judge in eternity. Integrity sweats the small stuff and places character before calling. Everything matters.
Song of Solomon 2:15, Luke 8:17,
Proverbs 11:3, Psalm 24:4,
Galatians 5:25
